Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope 6th Annual Gala nets $1,000,000 for charity.
Hosted by Regis Philbin, this year’s event included more than 650 donors and reached a program milestone with
$1 million dollars donated. Joe Torre and Rudy Giuliani kicked off the evening by focusing on the children and family charities supported by Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope. Throughout the evening at Cipriani Wall Street, guests enjoyed special moments including a heart felt welcome and tribute from Susan Lucci and Wayne Gretzky to the King of Golf, Arnold Palmer. Later in the evening Hall of Fame football stars Carl Banks, Marty Lyons, Harry Carson gave quarterback greats Dan Marino and Boomer Esiason and full team welcome.
Dan Marino and Boomer Esiason delighted the crowd by introducing the first ever special service dog to a student of the Dan Marino Foundation as part of the Friends for Life program. Boomer and Dan then switched gears and invited the crowd to take a catch for charity through a football toss where dollars were donated to the charities.
The event concluded with a special performance by Grammy award-winning singer Alicia Keys as we helped raise awareness to her foundation.

Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope and Best Buy are off to the races by raising money for the Magic Johnson Foundation. Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope made a pledge check presentation of $400,000 to support the Magic Johnson Foundation prior to the UAW-DaimleerChrysler 400 in Las Vegas.
Magic Johnson who is Co-Chairman of NASCAR's Executive Steering Committee for Diversity paid a special visit to Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 11 as part of the national Best Buy retail promotion for Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope, which is helping to raise thousands of dollars for the Magic Johnson Foundation March 4-24.
